Picatinny rails for Marlin 1894 and 1895

Our rails are precision-milled and fit specific rifle models.

Marlin is closely associated with the classic American lever-action rifle. Models such as the 1894 and 1895 are often used for close-range hunting, where quick handling and straightforward optics are important. Marlin's side ejection makes them well suited to optics mounted over the receiver, but the 1894 and 1895 do not necessarily use the same rail.

We offer Picatinny rails for Marlin 1894 and 1895. Always choose according to the exact model, and check the A/B/C measurements on your rifle before ordering.

Picatinny rails for Marlin 1894 and 1895

Marlin rifles hold a special place among hunters who prefer short, fast and robust lever-action rifles. A Picatinny rail suits that type of rifle well, as it gives flexibility for red-dot sights, scout-style setups or a compact scope for hunting in dense cover.

Marlin 1894 and Marlin 1895

The Marlin 1894 is a compact model often associated with revolver calibres such as .44 Magnum. The Marlin 1895 is the heavier model, known for calibres like .45-70 Government. The two rifles are similar in concept, but the bolt, length and hole pattern must be checked separately.

A Picatinny rail for the Marlin 1894 does not necessarily fit the Marlin 1895. Always check the exact model and A/B/C measurements on your rifle before you order.

Material: steel or aluminium

For a Marlin lever-action, 7075-T6 aluminium is a good choice if you want to retain the rifle's light, quick-handling character. On an 1895 with powerful cartridges, steel with QPQ treatment can be relevant, especially if you run heavy optics or subject the rifle to strong recoil. See our guide to steel vs aluminium for Picatinny rails.

Low-light optics and flexible setups

Picatinny makes it easier to use the same mounting standard across several rifles. On a Marlin this can be useful for red-dot sights, a compact scope or digital optics for hunting in low light. A conventional riflescope should generally be checked and often re-zeroed after relocation, while many digital devices can save profiles for multiple rifles.

Mounting

Position the rail so the holes line up precisely with the threaded holes in the bolt. Clean the mating surfaces and threads, use a small amount of suitable threadlocker, and tighten the screws to the manufacturer's recommended torque. See our guide to mounting a Picatinny rail.
